I am Marcello: a tour guide licensed in Istria (Croatia). As a tour guide I have been active for 20 years, always here in Istria. Besides my work as a tour guide I especially love to produce wine as Istrian Malvasia, which originates from my vineyards located on the beautiful hills of Istria.

Istria is the largest peninsula of the Adriatic. It offers not only sun, a blue sea and pure air but also historical monuments as the Roman amphitheatre in Pola, the Euphrasian Basilica in Parenzo, many small medioeval towns; karst phenomenona as the Canal of Lemme (Limski Kanal) and the Baredine caves : wonderful views and landscapes.

We should not forget the delicious flavors of our cuisine, fish, crustaceans, the olive oil and the renowned white truffle (Tuber album Balbis).Traditional wines as the Istrian Malvasia and the Terrano supplement this harmony of flavors .The Istrian "grappa" flavored with gardenrue ( Ruta graveolens) will ease your digestion.
